Ruth S. Lee Johnson has joined Lane Powell as an Attorney in the Litigation Practice Group. Johnson focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation. She previously worked as an Associate for Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP.
Johnson earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School, and her B.S. and B.A., magna cum laude, in Mathematics and Political Science, respectively, from the University of Washington.

Gregg also served as VP of Marketing for Full Circle, a leading online organic food delivery service, where he grew acquisitions by over 100%.
He started his career at Braxton Associates, the strategy consulting arm of Deloitte, and moved to Kraft Foods where he managed P&Ls as part of the brand management organization. Gregg also served in executive marketing roles at several early stage companies, including Neah Power Systems and Widemile (acquired by Webtrends).
Gregg holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Makiko Coffland has joined Lane Powell as an Attorney in the Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group. She advises and represents clients in patent, trademark, copyright and contractual matters, including negotiation, enforcement and defense. Coffland is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and has experience securing patents in the bio-tech, software and electronics industries, among others.
Coffland earned her J.D., from the University of Idaho College of Law, and her M.S. and B.S., in Aquatic Biosciences at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology.

A veteran digital executive who has helped a number of teams create online products, services and experiences, Silverstein has worked at both venture-backed start-ups and top Internet companies.
He comes to Rightside from American City Business Journals -- a premier publisher of local business, sports and auto news -- which employs 1,600 people in over 40 cities.
As Senior Vice President for Digital Operations at American City Business Journals, Silverstein’s teams developed and supported over 300 products, including responsive Web sites, mobile apps, email newsletters and the internal applications .
Earlier in his career, Silverstein was Vice President for Interactive Media at The Charlotte Observer; he also served in a number of roles at Yahoo, including Chief of Staff / Director of Business Operations in the engineering organization; and he was a co-founder of Internet SportsStations, an online media company, as well as an editor and online video producer for the National Basketball Association.
Silverstein earned a B.A. degree in Chemistry and Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA in Information Technology, IT Operations Management and Strategy from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
U.S. Bank has named Mike Katz market president and head of commercial banking for the Puget Sound region, effective August 1. Katz succeeds Chris Heman, who is relocating out of the market later this summer.
A seasoned commercial banker, Katz has been with U.S. Bank for 13 years having most recently led its team of relationship managers serving a diverse mix of companies in Denver. Over his career, he’s been recognized nationally among the bank’s top performers in the division. He is experienced in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions, including experience at CH2M Hill and Wells Fargo.
