Venkata Karumuri
PEMCO Insurance is pleased to welcome Venkata Karumuri as a systems manager for the organization’s digital business center. Karumuri brings more than 15 years of experience helping local leading organizations succeed by aligning technology strategies with business objectives to help companies realize their goals.
As a systems manager with expertise in product and software development, Karumuri will lead the development and deployment of strategic and tactical plans for multiple PEMCO IT systems. He will also work with leadership on recommendations for technological advancements to support the company’s strategic goals and objectives.

Before joining PEMCO, Karumuri was a senior manager with BECU where he directed multiple teams providing business-aligned technology solutions and evaluated industry technological trends for their implementation potential within the organization. Prior to BECU, he served as an enterprise business intelligence and data architect for Delta Dental, working with the CIO to create and execute the organization’s technology roadmap. He was also a lead software development engineer at Microsoft, where he spent several years building and managing a global team for gathering data analytics to support sales and marketing.

Outside of work, Karumuri enjoys spending time with his daughter, reading, and watching ice hockey and basketball. He also loves traveling, meeting new people and learning from shared experiences.
