Sea-Tac Parking Garage Begins Transition to New System

Installation began Monday, Oct. 23, and will continue for several weeks.
 
 

New machines are being installed this week at Sea-Tac Airport’s parking garage.

Officially beginning Monday, Oct. 23, and lasting for several weeks, the garage is transitioning to a new system, which will affect most parking customers, the airport said. A specific end date was not readily available.

Future parking improvements include an online parking reservation system and a camera-based parking guidance system.

But now, during construction, if you enter the garage, you’ll receive one of two types of parking tickets, which indicate which machine will be used for payment. Special signage will be present, and additional staff will be in the garage for assistance.
