Rachel Hoffman Cox

Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that Rachel Hoffman Cox became a new partner of the firm in its Seattle office effective January 1, 2019. Cox, an experienced environmental attorney, advises clients in permitting, compliance and enforcement matters arising under state and federal environmental laws. She uses a results-oriented approach to help clients in natural resources industries navigate and comply with complex regulatory schemes, including climate change-related regulatory programs.

Cox holds a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University in environmental engineering. She also holds a law degree and certificate in environmental and natural resources law from Lewis and Clark Law School. Her background and experience provide a solid basis in the highly technical scientific issues that often underlie questions of environmental law.
