Seattle Growth Outpaces the U.S.

Jobs are growing more than twice as fast than the rest of the country.

Median household income in the Seattle region is about one-third higher than the rest of the country, but jobs are growing more than twice as fast and retail sales per person are almost twice as high. Forecasts call for the region to continue adding jobs at more than twice the national rate.
