After two months of positive job growth, September was bad on all counts. While August had employment rising even as unemployment climbed because of an increase in the state workforce, in September the workforce shrunk, employment declined AND unemployment rose. August’s unemployment was revised downward from 9.2 percent to 9 percent. But September’s preliminary numbers show 9.3 percent unemployment. Go here to see all the numbers..
