KeyBank has named Cassandra Mitchell Vice President and Corporate Responsibility Officer for the state of Washington. In this role she is responsible for statewide community engagement efforts that support KeyBank’s National Community Benefits Plan and performance under the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). Throughout her career, Mitchell has held multiple human resource positions across a variety of sectors, including government, IT and most recently banking. Her passion to advocate for diverse and inclusive environments where organizations thrive and people excel has always been at the forefront of her various roles over the course of her career. “I am especially looking forward to partnering with our local leadership on creating and executing the Community Engagement Strategy and helping KeyBank contribute to the success of the community through partnerships with local non-profit and community-based organizations,” Mitchell said. Mitchell received her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Colorado State University. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she has called Seattle home for more than 15 years, with her three daughters, Sierra, Kamryn and Kadyn.
