Salas O’Brien Hires Sarah Rubey Elert, Certified Interior Designer (CID)
Salas O’Brien welcomes its newest sustainable-focused West Coast designer
SEATTLE, Wash. (May 10, 2017) – Salas O’Brien announced today that it has hired Sarah Rubey Elert, a LEED AP-certified interior designer with more than a decade of experience. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from California State University, Sacramento, and has been a part of projects from schematic design to construction administration.
“Sarah is an excellent addition to our Seattle and Northern California team,” said Arnold Kraakmo, one of Salas O’Brien’s managing principals. “Her experience in both sustainable design and project management demonstrates a level of service that clients have come to expect from Salas O’Brien.”
Sarah Rubey Elert has experience in projects such as the first LEED-Silver certified restaurant in Sacramento called Hot Italian. Specializing in mixed-use interior design with a focus on hospitality retail, her recent designs for an international coffee retailer have all been LEED-certified.
