Bridgeways (Everett)

Runner-up: Manufacturer of the Year (Nonprofit Organizations)
|   June 2010   |  FROM THE PRINT EDITION

Bridgeways is a nonprofit agency
serving Snohomish County residents who have mental health challenges, but it’s
also an aerospace components manufacturer that has adopted lean practices,
achieved AS9100 and ISO 9000 certifications, and moved into a new production
facility this year. Result: contracts with Boeing and other private
manufacturers and, as the agency puts it, clients who have “found a path to a
new, stable and self-reliant life.”
