Feel like playing Pebble Beach today? It’s closer than you think.

Unwilling to let Seattle’s winter weather deter business travelers from enjoying some networking on the links, two Seattle area hotels offer indoor golf CLUBS that let clients test their mettle (and their woods) at such venerable venues as Bay Hill, Kapalua, St. Andrews, Harbour Town and Pinehurst.

The Hotel 1000 in downtown Seattle and the Doubletree by Hilton Seattle Airport in SeaTac use simulators that employ infrared tracking to mimic a ball’s trajectory, allowing guests to play more than 50 of the world’s best courses while hitting real balls at a virtual projection—all without having to don rain pants.

Each “club” offers food and beverage service and multiple modes of play, including closest-to-the-pin and longest-drive formats. —Sarah Dewey
